Comparison
Who we actually compete with — and where they are better than us.
Most comparison pages are written so the vendor wins every row. That convinces nobody who has evaluated software before. Here is the real list, with an honest note on where others are stronger.
The matrix
Eight vendors, eight capabilities.
| Capability | Entra Logic | Microsoft native | Netwrix Directory Manager | ManageEngine ADManager Plus | CoreView | Cayosoft | One Identity Active Roles | Tools4ever HelloID |

Assessments are based on the vendors' own product documentation and independent trade press as of August 2026, not on hands-on testing of every product. If you think a cell is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
Evidence, not assertion
The rows where we claim something others lack.
No standing admin rights
The platform holds the permissions, people hold none. Here is the consent list, with grade and status, exactly as Microsoft shows it.
Cost allocated per company
Not a report you export and cut up in a spreadsheet — allocation is in the product, per period, per company.
A native employee app
We reviewed all seven. Several have a mobile app for IT technicians. None has an app for the ordinary employee. This is the one row where we can say nobody else does this without qualification — and therefore the only place we say it.
Where others are stronger
The most important section on this page.
CoreView
Strongest of all on cost reporting and license management across companies, with heavy investor backing behind it. If you are evaluating us purely on the financial side of multi-company management, talk to them too.
Netwrix and One Identity
More mature, broader lifecycle handling at departure than we have today, including paths we do not yet cover in full. If a complete, broad offboarding engine is the only thing you are buying, they are stronger.
ManageEngine
Significantly lower price, and priced per technician rather than per user. If budget is the hard constraint, it is a real alternative — the mechanics are closer to ours than most people expect.
A comparison page you do not trust is worse than no comparison page. That is why every capability row above either has a screenshot beside it or a caveat inside it.
