Solver Entra

IDENTITY LIFECYCLE

One engine. Many business cases. The same guardrails every time.

Onboarding in Solver Entra is a single configurable engine, not a hardcoded workflow. A "business case" — a hired employee, a consultant, a cloud administrator, or any other category an organization wants to define — is a template: which attributes get set, which groups the person is added to, which licenses are assigned, and for how long the access should last before it must be renewed or automatically expires.

Three business cases, one engine.

Illustrative configuration — these values are examples, not fixed system behavior.

Because it is the same engine, standardization is a side effect, not a separate initiative. Whichever business case a request falls under, the same approval discipline applies, the same tenant and entity scoping applies — a manager can only onboard into their own company and department — and the same auditable order is produced.

Customize the one step that matters. Inherit the rest.

Underneath each template sits a customizable script for every object type Solver Entra manages — Employee, GraphUser, GraphGroup, SharedMailbox, Teams, Viva, CloudApps — and for every lifecycle action on it: New, Update, Delete, Disable. Scripts can inherit from one another. An Employee script can inherit its Update, Delete and Disable behavior from the underlying GraphUser script and override only what is actually different, so a tenant customizes one step without re-implementing the other three.

Scripts, grouped by object type, with inheritance between actions. Illustrative data.

Where the request actually comes from.

Managers request onboarding from the Employee Onboarding business app — a restricted employee view for requesting onboarding and changes, scoped to their own company — on the same login as everything else.
